Last week I had a bag of shrimp that I wanted to use for dinner. Felt like something Italian and of course healthy. This shrimp recipe is something I came up with on my own last Friday. It is pretty quick, easy to do and healthy! You will need 1 lb bag of shrimp, olive oil, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, garlic and rice or spaghetti noodles. I used brown rice but you can also use whole wheat spaghetti noodles
This recipe yields 2 servings
1 lb Bag of Shrimp
1 TBSP of Italian Seasoning to Taste
2 TBSP Olive Oil
1 Clove of Garlic
1 Cup of Rice or spaghetti noodles
4 TBSP Parmesan Cheese
Put peeled shrimp in a sauce pan with 1 TBSP of olive oil. Sautee’ shrimp until its white usually 3-5 minutes. Add 1 TBSP olive oil, 1 TBSP Italian Seasoning, and clove of garlic minced. Stir the pan while allowing garlic to slightly brown. Put mix over prepared rice or noodles and cover with 2 TBSP of Parmesan Cheese or to taste.
This is a great low calorie, low fat, and high protein meal! I enjoyed this meal a lot and I hope you do also! Let me know what you think of the recipe in the comments! Stay Frugal My Friends!
